Sparrow's family had always been strange one to see roaming the halls of Bowerstone Castle.

From left to right:

Angela Monroe is Logan's twin sister and is the more rambunctious of the two. She is more willing to try new things than her brother and is more outspoken than anyone else in the family. She does share in her brother's obstinance and self-righteous way of thinking, though.

Anne Monroe is the eldest of Sparrow's brood, and also the most meek and mild. She rarely says an unkind word to anyone and she makes friends everywhere she goes. She is very beautiful and turns the head of many a man, but her first priority is her family and she watches over the younger children like a mother hen when her parents are busy or away.

Maegan Monroe, previously known as Sparrow, and later Gunslinger, is the mother of six, a wife to one man, and a leader of a kingdom. Juggling all the priorities in her life is no mean feat, and she is often exhausted at the end of the day. It is in her children and her husband Dean's gentle touch that she finds solace. She has retired from being a travelling Hero, but she has always been a tiger and will sometimes venture out to take care of the riff-raff plaguing her city.

Elena Monroe is the future Hero of Brightwall, though in the portrait she may not look it. Only her mother is aware of this fact, and so her first few years of life are blissful and normal. She grows up to be a lot like her mother: bull-headed with a good sense of right and wrong, and a little bit of sass.

The one clinging to Maegan's skirts is none other than Logan Monroe. He is shy as a child, more brooding than the others. He and his twin Angela are polar opposites, though they get along splendidly on most days. He doesn't really connect with most of his siblings, though without a doubt he loves them all. Secretly, he has a strong love for justice and wishes for nothing more than to make sure his family is safe and happy.

Dean Monroe is, quite literally, the Gypsy King of Albion. He and Maegan grew up together, and though she had always had her mind on her training and vengeance, he always fancied her and followed her around like a lost puppy. Maegan didn't mind; she secretly liked the company, even though he was randy and usually drunk out of his mind. After she returned one afternoon from a long few months of adventuring, she found that he had cleaned himself up and gotten a ring. It was love ever since.

Martin Monroe is most certainly his father's son. A joker through and through, he loves to play pranks and will do just about anything to either make his siblings laugh or to get on their nerves. He is reckless and careless, and often finds himself in quite the pickle. Usually it's his brother Richard who comes to his rescue.

Richard Monroe is the eldest of the boys, and probably the most level-headed in the group. He looks a lot like a younger version of his father, and possesses what few mature qualities Dean has. Most of his maturity comes from Walter, who has trained him since he was young to be the king Albion deserves. He sees his brother Martin as a nuissance, but bails him out of trouble time and time again for reasons unknown even to him.

Ozzy technically shouldn't be in this picture, because he died four years before its creation. But Maegan insisted that he was still very much a part of the family and should be painted despite his absence, and the painter could only oblige her. Ozzy had been Maegan's faithful companion since the beginning, living an unnaturally long life, and being the family pet in the infancy of her family.

Technically, Elena shouldn't be in this picture, either, but that's an oopsy on my part. XD Everyone's ages are all out of whack here, so I figured, what the heck.
